 | Laura Nieto Bruña was born in David, Chiriqui, Republic of Panama, in 1981. She completed her primary studies in San Francisco de Asis Elementary School, and she received her high school diploma with a focus in Science from Felix Olivares C. High School in 1998. In 1999, Laura completed her first children’s novel Aldo, el joven rey. During that same year, she won Honorable Mention in the Roberto Jaen y Jaen Inter-university Contest with her story El Fantasma de la Cava del Marqués (The Ghost of the Marquis’ Cellar). She graduated with 3rd place honors with a degree in Marketing in 2004, from Universidad Santa María la Antigua (USMA), David branch. |
